Stephen King wrote this dystopian novel before 'dystopian' was even a genre name. A large group of teen boys are part of the yearly tradition of the long walk-where the rules are you walk until you die or are the last one standing. While the adaptation doesn't have carry over certain themes, it is still a fantastic movie and there was just so much to get into as far as both are concerned!
