This is the only The Little Mermaid (2023) movie review you need to see. From a grown man, going alone to watch Ariel and friends frolick around under the sea for a couple of hours, wondering where his life went wrong. This newest "live-action" Disney remake is pretty much on par with The Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and the rest. Halle Bailey is really strong but the fugly visuals and hodge-podge of music slow things down a lot. Also Scuttle is absolute trash. These movies are pointless but young kids and parents don't seem to mind.
