The Joker 2 Folie à Deux just had its premiere at the 81 Venice Film Festival and looks like its trying to be a contender for this upcoming Oscar race. Early reviews for the DC film is out and the biggest problem right now is that the audience has mixed feelings on Joker 2. Some people have their critics for Lady Gaga, whose playing Harley Quinn in the movie. And then other think that Joaquin Phenix’s Joker already did the same thing its currently doing in the last movie. People don’t know if Joker: Folie à Deux is trying to be a courtroom drama or a musical, or some weird in between thing. Considering where this world premiere took place it’s really hard to trust whats starting to appear on the internet right now.
Whats a little bit more suspect is that Joker 2 has a review embargo and some of the people that are talking about the film are completely ignoring it. But it also has me thinking, The movie comes out in about a month, they just had the world premiere?
Why keep the review embargo? If you were so confident in the film.
