Actor Peter Berg has directed some excellent action-packed and drama-filled movies… he’s also done some that aren’t good either. He now helms the Netflix limited series American Primeval… it’s a brutal look at America as violence erupts in pretty much every direction… and no, it’s not a modern story… this is a western of sorts… and I don’t think Mormon’s are going to be too pleased with some of this… so should you watch? This is America…1857. Up is down, pain is everywhere, and innocence and tranquility are losing the battle to hatred and fear. Peace is the shrinking minority, and very few possess grace, with even fewer knowing compassion. There is no safe haven in these brutal lands, and only one goal matters: survival.
