Was going to skip the apartment tour this time, but couldn't resist with my whole apartment being covered in mirrors so I had to let you all check it out because I have seen nothing like this before.
I was expecting bad traffic in Jakarta, but surprisingly there wasn't so I arrive at the Halim station very early. I only explored the bottom floor and decided to grab some food before the trip since I had yet to eat breakfast.

I went with a Roti-O as I have seen these everywhere, but yet to try. Of course I grabbed the best coffee in Indonesia a "Point" Palm Sugar Latte and I also wanted to try a "yummy" rice meal.
The rice meal was actually pretty good and had more flavor than I expected. If I was hungry and needed something convenient, I would eat this again. However, the Roti-O was my favorite. It reminded me of a Pineapple bun from Hong Kong.
Finally time to board and I was in the first class which cost me 600k Rupiah. The service was nice as the worker was dressed very elegantly and the car itself was in tip-top shape. It was so clean and spacious with nice AC. It was amazing to go 350km/hour and the ride me so smooth.
I got off at Stasiun Kereta Cepat Tegalluar which I think was a mistake as it went way past Bandung. I quickly found out I still had an hour taxi ride ahead of me, after just 45 minutes on the bullet-train.
Once in Bandung I had to get some food.
Mie Rica Kejaksaan-

This place had so many reviews so I went to check out what it was all about. These were some of the best fresh noodles I have had in a long time. The young waitresses were very nice and spoke good English. I also got the fried prawn Bakso and the fried wontons. I would recommend it all, but the noodles were my favorite.
Then I finally got to check into my $22 airbnb, but I wasn't there for long as it was disgusting.
So I pivoted quickly and checked into:
Aryaduta Bandung-

It was a little more expensive than usual because I booked last second, but I am happy I got to stay here. It was clean and the staff really were so cheerful and fun to joke with!
After freashing up, it was off to the night market!
Sudirman Street Day and Night Market-

The hotel staff said there is a new night market in Bandung, but this one still looked better in the pictures.
I had to stop for some pork sate since it had workers showing me their menus and loud music. It looked like it was going to be really good and like many people were going to be there, but for me it was just okay.
I then worked my way into the back and realized that is where the real food is.
I found a Swike stall which so many people were eating this night and since I have not had Frog in Indonesia yet, I had to give it a try. The soup version was interesting, but if I ate it again, it would definitely be the fried.
Finally for something sweet, I got in line at this popular "Pisang keju" stall which was the fried "banana" or what looked to be a plantain with cheese, chocolate and sweet and condensed milk. I really love eating this but Murtabak and Roti bakar are still my favorite.
