The Rock Garden was built by Shri Naik Chand Saini secretly in 1957 and was approved as a public Park of Chandigarh in 1976. It is the favorite tourist destination in Chandigarh. It is about 500 m from Sukhna Lake and spread over 40 acre.
This Park was built by the use of waste industrial waste, Domestic waste including ceramic tiles, sewage pipes, Bangle etc.

You need 2hrs to tour complete rock garden.

It is about 7.4 km from Chandigarh Railway station where you can reach by auto, bus and cab.
