We wanted to soak in Mysuru’s rich culture and history, especially because this was Sree’s first visit to Mysuru in 20 years, and so checked into the wonderful 100-year-old heritage property, Royal Orchid Metropole. Day one of our Mysuru holiday also included a catch up with the city’s famous elephants who were practicing for the Dasara procession, and to wrap things up, a mesmerising sound and light show at the palace.
