Darjeeling the queen of the hills is a famous tourist spot offering view of the Mt. Kanchenjunga and the heritage Darjeeling Himalayan Toy train ride. Darjeeling is a town in India's West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. It is located at an elevation of 6,700 ft (2,042.2 m) and known for its tea industry, views of Kangchenjunga, the world's third-highest mountain, the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I have been to Darjeeling already when I was hardly 6 years old with my family but this would be my first time visit to Darjeeling with my friends. I am very much excited to share with you my entire Darjeeling journey covering some famous spot, sightseeing, etc. At the end of the trip, an unplanned destination took our heart. So follow my videos to know more. Our trip day 1 & 2: Journey of 5 friends started from Sealdah station. Our train was at 10:05PM, 12343/Darjeeling Mail. The train arrival time was next day at 08:15AM. We book our train tickets from IRCTC site (prior 3 months). We reached NJP and board a cab for Darjeeling. In-between we halted for tea and breakfast. Once we reach our destination, we started our day at Darjeeling exploring chowrasta via mall road with a lunch at “Park “restaurant located at Chauk Bazar. After lunch we headed back to our hotel “Magnolia Residency” to take some rest. Our evening plan is to explore local markets near mall road and dine at famous restaurant “Glenary”.
