You've waited a long time for this review. After thousands of tags asking for my thoughts on the Sunny Cup and Applicator I can finally bring you my review. There is a lot of ground to cover here and I had hours of footage from my period to sort through and edit into making sense. I hope. My ADHD brain is hard to wrangle and I wandered a bit.
There is good news and bad news. I can't say the Sunny Cup made using menstrual cups easier for me but I do think it might for others. I also seemed to have a harder times than other people did, at least according to the reviews shared on the Sunny Period website.
The cup was comfortable for me (overall) with the stem trimmed off. It opened and sealed most days. This cup applicator is certainly the best attempt yet in this category and usable. That puts it miles above other attempts thus far so they get credit for that as well as being tenacious in bringing this to market against the challenges the brand has faced.
I truly wished it worked as advertised for me because I would much rather post one of my "I thought this was going to be awful but it was great" reviews. I've definitely been surprised by products before. The Sunny Cup and Applicator doesn't get a 5 star review, it's a 3 star review at best from me.
