It has a case that attaches to your iPad and allows the iPad to be easily removed from the larger keyboard case but remain fully protected. It uses magnets to keep the iPad latched onto the keyboard when in use and allows viewing at any angle. The keyboard is backlit and has adjustable brightness and colors as well as a trackpad. The back has a strong hinge that allows you to put the iPad at any angle in both horizontal and vertical mode. A really excellent keyboard case.
