Chief Electoral Officers of all states will attend this meeting. The Election Commission will start the SIR process again by the end of the year. Next year there are assembly elections in Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal and Puducherry, work will soon be started on the plan to update the voter list by completing the SIR process in these states before the elections. It is worth noting that all the big leaders of the opposition including Rahul Gandhi are strongly opposing this SIR campaign of the Election Commission.
